1. What do you like most at work?
I like it when things go forward, when I can influence things and when the result turns out to be good.
2. Why do you like going to work in the morning?
I like that? Yes! Almost 100%! Otherwise I would have to change the kind of work I am doing.
3. Which are your favourite three books?
Time and again I read "Unter dem Tagmond" by Keri Hulme from New Zealand, then "Die Hand des Josef König" by Rudolf Rolfs, and "The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams. I like all Bill Bryson books (travel books). Depends on the mood and the time.
4. Where is your favourite place?
Well, at the lake there are many places and then there are some places that 'bond' me in a way I won't tell. THE favourite place does not exist at the moment.
5. What is your favourite music?
Another difficult question. Well, maybe Element of Crime, all classical music but opera and operetta, and anything called 'Black Music': Oleta Adams, Aretha Franklin with their powerful and expressive voices
6. How do you spend your spare time?
Here, at Lake Constance I have the optimal mixture of physical activities (cycling, hikng, swimming, fitmess training in the studio).
Then, I like going to exhibitions and presentations (www.konstanz.de), going out in a good restaurant (rather not too often but good. I like cooking and weekend-trips to visit friends in other cities.
